The Euro Came Into Use

1 January 1999. The Euro came into use.
Euro is the currency used in 17 EU member states. In demand deposits, currency came into use from the date of January 1, 1999, but physically it is just used on the date of January 1, 2002. Euro banknotes in apparently the same everywhere, but in the back of the coin is different. Coins of each country was given its own symbol.

There is a seven-fifteen EU member states that use the Euro as currency. User region is referred to as the currency of the Euro Zone. Eleven of the first countries to start using since early 1999. Greece became the 12th user since early 2001. Starting on January 1, 2007 Slovenia joined. Cyprus and Malta use since January 1, 2008. Slovakia, who joined from January 1, 2009. The latter is Estonia 1 January 2011.
